Central Square Coffee House
The LynnArts Central Square Coffeehouse & Open Mic, takes place on the third Sunday of every month from 6-9 pm at LynnArts. Music starts at 6 pm with a set by host duo Kirsten & Dave, followed by the open mike performers. Admission is $5.00 to the general public, and is free to performers who sign up for the open mike. Coffee, tea and snacks are available for purchase throughout the evening. There is a different feature performer every month. The feature is presented at about 7 pm. The Central Square Coffeehouse & Open Mike is sponsored by LynnArts, Inc. and is funded in part by a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. The Coffeehouse is hosted by Kirsten & Dave, a folk/country/bluegrass/acoustic pop and blues duo featuring Dave Simmons on guitar and bass, and Kirsten Manville on guitar and flute.
